The Octabvre Mini is a modified and miniaturised version of the Octabvre that was designed for bass player and effects guru Tim Lefebvre. It starts with the popular Tim-tuning mod from the original and takes it further with a reworked tone knob that runs the gamut from classic OC-2-inspired thump to all-out sub fuzz.

The new tone knob blends together two independent tone circuits. With the tone knob fully counterclockwise, the Octabvre Mini is a functional equivalent of the classic Boss OC-2 Octaver. As the tone knob is turned up, a fuzzy square wave version of the octave down circuit is introduced.

The Chromatron is the result of 10 years tweaking, refining and re imagining the state variable filter circuit. It is an optically-controlled analogue filter that can switch between envelope control and manual control via expression pedal with the push of a button. The envelope detector is an original design, producing a musical filter response that spans a broad range of tones from vintage quack to future-synth psychedelica.

Vulcan Bass Overdrive

The Vulcan is a bass overdrive that packs two discrete drive circuits into one package. The innovative colour control provides a variable balance between a mid-forward, vintage-inspired overdrive and a higher-gain modern sound. The signal path is split after the first gain stage and sent to each overdrive circuit where the sound is clipped and sculpted individually and recombined at the output. The result is a versatile overdrive that adapts to any style. A broad range of tones can be accessed by using the tone knob on your bass in conjunction with the controls on the Vulcan.

The Vulcan is housed in a compact cast enclosure and finished with a brushed anodised aluminium face plate. It uses a proprietary silent active bypass system for seamless switching through a clickless stomp switch. It is designed to sound great at 9v DC, but can also be powered with 18v for a cleaner sound with extra headroom.

DOOM 2

DOOM 2 is an original fuzz circuit that turns your input signal into something resembling the sawtooth wave of a vintage synthesizer. Unlike most fuzz-style circuits, DOOM 2 responds to your playing technique and retains note dynamics.

New for version 2 is the you’re / your switch. You’re is the classic DOOM sound - strong upper harmonics, a mid-focused sound, and octavia / ring modulator effects as you play up the neck. Your is a new mode that has a stronger fundamental, more low end and fewer harmonics. This mode sounds more like a traditional fuzz.

Also new is the bass control. This is actually a clean volume control or a bass control depending on the position of the bass / clean switch. In clean mode, the bass control passes your full range clean signal through to the output. In bass mode, an active crossover passes only your clean low frequencies to mix with the fuzz circuit. The result is a fat, cohesive sound.

To top things off, the shape switch from the original has been replaced with a variable mid control. Now you can fine tune your presence and sit anywhere in the mix.

DOOM 2 has a full range output that works on any instrument, but the standard version is optimised for low frequency instruments like bass guitar and synthesizer. A circuit tuning optimised for the frequency response of guitar speakers will be available soon.

The Proton is an optically controlled analogue envelope filter. The circuit has been completely redesigned to offer better tone and a more musical response. It has a new detector circuit based on the one in the Chromatron, and the familiar control layout has a greatly expanded range that can get the classic 1970s filter sounds and well beyond. The new range switch allows for much deeper filter sweeps, and the reworked tone knob covers every soundscape from cocked wah to laser beams.
