Beautifully made both inside and out with an aged spirit finish the timber is well seasoned and stable. This is a great example of what new basses are coming out at the moment. This is a new bass design I have been working on over the last couple of years. The bass is one of the first short scale basses to come out of my studio. It may be short but is has the sound and power of a much longer scale length.

My main thought in making this was for it to play a feel like and extension of the player comfort a fast easy neck and tone that has no lag holding it back Every piece of this instrument is meticulously crafted by me right down to the shells and knobs.

We have this beautiful fully modded Fodera standard 5 string in for sale, it currently features an Ebony fingerboard with pink abalone block inlays Nordstrand DC series wound pickups and an aguilar OBP3 preamp custom wired. This bass origionally came with a pau ferro fingerboard which was swapped out for an beautiful piece of ebony with some figuring in it, The bass also has a new two way truss and rod carbon tubes which don’t come as a standard option.

All the work was conducted right here in our workshop to our highest standards

This one of a kind Gliga Vasile Maestro bass represents the pinnacle of Gliga instrument building and as such carries the name of the master luthier Vasile Gliga, founder of the Gliga workshops. Exceptionally beautiful tonewoods have been sourced and selected specially for the construction of this fine instrument. The highest quality Carpathian spruce is matched with beautifully figured maple back and sides and finished in the finest European oil varnish. German Rubner ebony pin machines are fitted into the scroll which has been carefully carved from highly flamed maple.
